COVID-19 Vaccine

Quarantine Length Reduced

(PDF, December 26), from 14 days to 10 days, for people exposed to COVID-19. The new guidance applies to most people, including health care personnel, and conforms with the .

Health care personnel in hospital and direct care settings (such as primary care facilities) who have been exposed to a person with COVID-19 are no longer permitted to work while under quarantine, unless the facility has a staffing shortage. Shortages should be reported to the State Hospital Capacity Command Center by calling 917-909-2676.

Health care personnel at nursing homes and adult care facilities — certified as Enhanced Assisted Living Residences or licensed as Assisted Living Programs — can discontinue quarantine after 10 days, but they may not return to work until 14 days have passed.

Offer COVID-19 Testing

  • Have new symptoms of COVID-19
  • Were exposed to someone with COVID-19 in the past two weeks
  • Attended a gathering of 10 or more people in the past two weeks

Rút tiền thẻ gameConsider regularly screening people who may have an increased risk for exposure to COVID-19 or of exposing others to COVID-19.
